We’re looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our team in a full-time position on Vancouver Island. The ideal candidate is excited by the opportunity to manage their own client portfolio and provide effective leadership to project teams.

The Client Manager will be responsible for business and relationship management with clients across various market sectors, identifying opportunities for consulting services within Pinchin. You will collaborate with Project Managers and the Marketing team to develop and maintain these relationships. If you are outgoing and eager to learn daily, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

What You Will Be Doing at Pinchin
  1. Identify and investigate new business opportunities, gather information.
  2. Contribute to strategic development within a sector or client segment.
  3. Manage clients, understand their needs, follow up regularly, and seek additional project opportunities.
  4. Participate in tradeshows, sponsorships, and association events.
  5. Promote Pinchin and its services through various channels.
  6. Arrange meetings and build relationships with new and existing clients and Pinchin Project Managers.
  7. Work with marketing to explore opportunities from client communications.
  8. Coordinate with proposal teams to meet client needs in RFQ/RFI documents.
  9. Gather and act on client feedback.
  10. Address client questions and concerns.
  11. Identify and communicate cross-selling opportunities to other service groups.
What You Bring to the Pinchin Team
  • Existing network within the environmental consulting industry.
  • 2-5 years of client management experience in the local region.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to represent the company effectively.
  • Sound judgment and professional presentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive in contacting potential clients by phone.
  • Experience with environmental consulting and engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle (travel expenses covered).
