IBM Consulting is a leading provider of technology-led transformation solutions powered by hybrid cloud and AI. The Client Growth Leader is responsible for driving sales of IBM Consulting solutions that leverage our assets, offerings, and solutions across hybrid cloud, business transformation, and cybersecurity platforms. The role requires proven consulting and services experience in at least one Growth Platform, strong consulting delivery track record, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Create and close proactive deals with new clients or new Lines of Business.
  2. Drive new business growth by generating opportunities and acquiring new clients.
  3. Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, identifying strategic opportunities.
  4. Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and market share targets.
  5. Coordinate deal pursuits, including proposals, pricing, and negotiations.
  6. Manage pursuit teams to advance deals through sales stages.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
Qualifications
Required
  • Growth mindset with a drive to action and win.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience with strategic partners like AWS, Azure, Red Hat, SAP, Salesforce.
  • 8-10 years in consulting delivery or sales, with experience in Red Hat OpenShift and cloud solutions.
Preferred
  • Experience within IBM Consulting or similar global firms.
  • Knowledge of IBM services and industry trends.
  • Experience with deal-making and cross-functional teams.
  • Industry specialization is a plus.
