Job summary

Forma.ai is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with our Revenue Optimization team and customers to design data-driven solutions for territory design, quota setting, market potential analysis, and seller performance.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied data science, and customer delivery, embedding with business teams to turn ambiguous data into working solutions and deliver end-to-end deployments from discovery through adoption.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and modeling.
• Strong SQL skills with complex datasets.
• Experience with pandas/NumPy/scikit-learn or similar libraries.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer objectives, data, and constraints with Revenue Optimization teams.
• Build and deploy Python-based models, simulations, and reports for territory planning and seller performance.
• Own problems from discovery to deployment, ensuring documentation and adoption.
• Navigate ambiguity quickly to deliver reliable customer outcomes.
• Create reusable components and workflows from customer-specific implementations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, audit, and data-access requirements.
