About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Private Client Insurance Broker to attract, build, and retain relationships with our VIP/high-net-worth clients while driving service excellence and identifying new business opportunities through integrated solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver value to clients by identifying exposures, recommending solutions, and advising on best-fit options.
• Collaborate with the backend service team on applications, specifications, marketing strategies, and insurer portal transactions.
• Provide professional, prompt service for client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and audits.
• Manage and grow relationships with Centres of Influence (e.g., wealth management, art appraisers, real estate firms).
• Attend industry and carrier training to stay updated on new products and services.
• Act as first-line underwriter, qualifying and promoting quality business.
• Achieve individual new business targets and identify growth opportunities, including cross-selling and referrals.
• Maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and NFP staff.

What You Bring

• BC Level 2 License in good standing; licenses in other provinces are an asset.
• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Private Client/VIP coverage (high-value homes, auto, art, marine, etc.) is an asset.
• Knowledge of industry trends and carrier products (e.g., Chubb, Intact Prestige, Aviva Ovation).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and business skills.
• Positive attitude focused on client satisfaction and business success.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in computer skills; EPIC experience is an asset.
• Currently pursuing or holding professional insurance designations (e.g., CAIB, CIP, CRM).
