Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Client Care Specialist to join our team. At VCA Animal Hospitals, our mission is pet health and excellent service. We aim to exceed pet owners' expectations with every opportunity.

We are looking for a personable, highly professional individual who excels at customer service, has a passion for client care, and loves animals. Veterinary experience or certification is an asset. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is required.

Responsibilities
  • Customer service functions: greeting visitors, answering phones, guiding clients and pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Following up with outbound calls and contacting prospective clients.
  • Explaining fees, processing payments.
  • Recommending and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Educating clients on animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintaining hospital cleanliness and facility upkeep.
