HUB International in Kamloops, Canada is seeking a Personal Insurance Associate to protect clients' assets across habitational, travel, and automobile insurance. Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience.
• Level 2 General Insurance License is an asset, but not required.
• Desire and proactive ability to deliver exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced team environment.
• Keen eye for detail and high sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales initiatives.
• Industry designation would be considered an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma).

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and advise on their insurance needs to help develop the best coverage needed in all things Personal Insurance (habitational, travel, automobile).
• Follow-up regularly on sales leads and referral prospects.
• Process and conduct renewals and ensure policies are processed and issued accurately in a timely manner.
• Aim to achieve sales and retention goals and targets.
• Maintain knowledge in Personal Lines and Auto products through ongoing education.

A day in the life

Salary Expectations

The expected salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
