Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright Canada in Toronto is seeking a Client Billing Specialist to support a high-performing finance team. The role focuses on invoicing, time-entry adjustments, and E-billing while ensuring accuracy and timely client service.

The ideal candidate has a diploma, at least 3 years of related experience, and solid knowledge of SAP plus MS Office. A hybrid work environment and competitive benefits are offered in Toronto.

4 days per week in office - TorontoOur finance team is seeking a Client Billing Specialist in Toronto. This position reports directly to the Client Billing Team Leader for Ontario and is a great opportunity for someone who is detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and excited to support a high-performing finance team with meaningful impact.You will be focusing on:Perform billing-related tasks for complex matters of the assigned lawyers: invoicing, distribution of pro formas, proofreading, changes to time entries, write-offs and transfers;Produce reports and tables tailored to the expressed needs of professionals and clients;Provide client service to internal and external clients for assigned accounts and respond to various requests in the allotted time;Make sure budgets and comprehensive billing agreements are adhered to;Manage all aspects of the E-billing process;Assist with month-end process;Manage requests sent to a common email box;Liaise with the client billing specialists;Perform any other related duties.What you bring to the role:Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate area;Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a similar position;Previous experience in law firm or professional service firm is an asset;Solid knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Detail-oriented with good problem solving skills;Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task;Willing to take initiative and to work independently and as part of a team;Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;Flexibility in order to accommodate work demands;Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset;DiscretionWhy join our team:Hybrid work environmentRetirement savings plan with employer contributionBenefit premiums paid by the firmTelemedicine servicesWellness matters: Flexible health and wellness allowance that covers much more than gym memberships!Training and development programs based on your interests and needsThe salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated.
