An established educational institution is looking for dedicated Clerk/Steno positions for its Summer Learning Program. The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for three Clerk/Steno positions for the 2025 Summer Learning Program. Reporting to the Summer Learning Program Coordinator and Site Supervisor, the successful candidates will provide administrative assistance for the programs.
This year, the Summer Learning Programs will include both in-person and online learning formats, focusing on reading, math, multilingual learners, and special education. All educational staff, including clerk/steno positions, will be expected to work in-person. Programs will be located at West Bayfield Elementary (Barrie), Worsley Elementary (Wasaga Beach), and Regent Park (Orillia). Interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible after the posting closing date.
Salary Range: $23.09 - $26.94 per hour, plus vacation pay

Qualifications
Required: Secondary school diploma. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. Strong organizational, secretarial, word processing, and computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and familiarity with Google Classroom. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred: Knowledge of SCDSB Policies, Administrative Procedures, and software such as PowerSchool and Google Classroom.
