Position: Clerk, Mill

The Mill Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to the mill team, including procurement, contract support, billing/invoicing, supplies management, records management, report generation, correspondence, and data processing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clerical Support: Maintain filing systems, prepare expense reports, data entry, support procurement, coordinate inventory counts, assist with payroll, billing, and employee training records, and participate in process improvements.
2. Schedule and Travel Coordination: Manage travel arrangements, provide cross-shift coverage, coordinate transportation and accommodations, manage personnel rosters, and liaise with off-site administrative staff.
3. Collaborative Support: Interact with staff and contractors, assist supervisors, support H&S systems, and provide logistical support for operations and staffing.
4. Data Management: Review operational data for integrity, assist in data entry, and support reporting for management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Nice to Haves

• High school diploma with related post-secondary training or management courses.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including on-site/camp experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Effective communication skills, organizational ability, teamwork, flexibility, and fluency in English; French is an asset.
• Motivated, independent, and capable of creating dashboards using BI tools is advantageous.
