Job Description

The Deli Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to: deep frying (required), sliced deli counter service, sub station counter service, HMR counter service, Fritou chicken prep, prepared foods preparation for counter sale, custom customer orders (trays and platters), and cleaning and sanitization to company standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to meet customer needs.
  • Keep work area clean and presentable.
  • Perform program execution and merchandising of products.
  • Handle and prepare deli products.
  • Increase store sales by actively promoting products.
  • Participate in training junior staff.
  • Order and receive stock following inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.
