This is a permanent, part time position of 31.5 hours (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
The shift pattern for this position is within Mon-Fri 9-5.
We are looking for a Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly team at the Cardiac Physiology Department, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Some previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
The role is patient facing, checking in patients to clinic, dealing with patient telephone queries as well as internal telephone calls in relation to the department. The successful candidate will work alongside the cardiac physiology team and assist in the throughput of appointments by entering patients onto an electronic system, checking demographics and rebooking appointments.
The post also involves data entry into various other healthcare databases. Some knowledge of healthcare IT systems would be advantageous but full training will be given. The successful candidate should have a friendly and approachable demeanor and be able to work in a high pressure demanding situation.
