RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary
The incumbent will report to Dr. Thanassoulis and to the nurse coordinator of the Family Heart Clinic. She may also be called upon to work with other clinics at the Cardiovascular Prevention Center. She will perform various administrative support tasks with the team.

General Duties
  1. Initiate and follow up on requests for payment authorization within the mesure des médicaments d’exception or of the mesure du patient d’exception with the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec.
  2. Ensure reception of laboratory results and patient follow-ups by the healthcare team.
  3. Give follow-up appointments to patients according to an established schedule.
  4. Perform other office duties as assigned.
