Job summary

Dr. Clean Inc. in Ontario is seeking a dependable Cleaning Technician to service client sites in South Porcupine with a consistent evening schedule. The role targets roughly 30 hours per week across five evening shifts, with six-hour blocks starting after 5:00 p.m.

Candidates should be able to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and have a valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle for site travel. Competitive wage is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset.
• Bondable and able to complete a Criminal Record Check.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Ability to follow site-specific cleaning checklists.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty garbage and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Restock washroom and cleaning supplies as required.
• Follow site-specific cleaning checklists and instructions.
• Safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any problems.
• Report supply shortages, maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards.
• Secure assigned sites and manage keys and alarm codes.
• Complete all duties within the scheduled shift.

Position Details

Location: South Porcupine, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time, approximately 30 hours per week
Schedule: Five evening shifts per week
Shift Length: Six hours per shift, beginning after 5:00 p.m.
Wage: $18.50 - $20/hourly

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who prefers a consistent evening schedule, works well independently, and takes pride in completing their work thoroughly.

Reliable transportation is essential. Candidates must have a valid driver's licence and access to their own vehicle to travel to and from assigned client sites.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Ability to begin shifts after 5:00 p.m.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and time-management skills
• Comfortable completing active cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset
• Experience using floor-care equipment, such as auto-scrubbers or swing machines, is an asset
• Must be bondable and able to complete a Criminal Record Check
