Job summary

Dr. Clean Inc. is seeking a Cleaning Technician – Cochrane to join our Ontario team in a part-time capacity. Location: Cochrane, Ontario.

Hours: approximately three-hour shifts, five days per week (15+ hours per week). Schedule: primarily morning/midday; shifts may change. Work environment is client-facing and professional conduct is expected. We offer on-site training and a supportive team environment, with opportunities for long-term growth while maintaining a clean and welcoming client

Qualifications

• Commercial/janitorial cleaning experience preferred.
• Floor-care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable personal vehicle to travel to sites.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Punctual and dependable in completing tasks.
• Able to meet physical job requirements.
• Availability for morning/midday shifts.
• Willing to adapt to scheduling changes.
• Bondable and able to obtain Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Empty garbage and remove debris.
• Follow site cleaning requirements and safety procedures.
• Perform routine care of cleaning equipment.
• Safeguard keys and alarm codes.
• Report completed work and site concerns to supervisor.
• Interact professionally with clients, employees, visitors.
• Minimize disruption to client operations while cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset
• Floor-care experience, including the use of swing machines or auto scrubbers, is an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from assigned sites
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional, respectful, and courteous communication
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned work
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Availability for primarily morning and midday shifts
