Job summary

Dr. Clean Inc. is hiring a Cleaning Technician for Hanmer/Val Caron, Ontario. This part-time role offers an initial schedule with evenings and a planned transition to full-time, minimum 20 hours per week, on-site work.

As a Cleaning Technician, you will perform routine cleaning, sanitation and maintenance tasks, follow safety procedures, and work with supervisors to ensure client spaces meet high standards. Bondability and a Criminal Record Check are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G-class driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Dependable, punctual and committed to completing tasks.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Willingness to work primarily evening shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
• Must be bondable and able to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Empty garbage containers and remove debris
• Follow site-specific cleaning requirements and instructions
• Complete routine care and maintenance of cleaning equipment
• Safeguard assigned keys and alarm codes
• Communicate with supervisors regarding completed work, supplies, or site concerns
• Follow established health and safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic environments for clients

What We’re Looking For

• Floor-care experience, including the use of swing machines or auto scrubbers, is an asset
