Job summary

Dr. Clean Inc. is seeking a dependable Cleaning Technician to perform office cleaning at client sites in Elliot Lake. Evening shifts, two 3-hour sessions per week, with potential for extra hours. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle for site travel.

Reliable attendance, ability to work independently, and prior janitorial experience are assets. On-site training and ongoing support are provided to help you excel in a respectful team environment.

Qualifications

• Evening shifts, part-time role.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Bondable and able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Experience in commercial/janitorial cleaning is an asset.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Empty garbage containers and dispose of waste appropriately
• Restock washroom and cleaning supplies as required
• Follow site-specific cleaning checklists and instructions
• Safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any problems
• Report supply shortages, maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards
• Secure assigned sites and properly manage keys and alarm codes
• Complete all assigned duties within the scheduled shift

Our team takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. We are looking for a dependable Cleaning Technician who can consistently deliver high-quality work at our client sites in Elliot Lake.

Position Details

Location: Elliot Lake, Ontario

Job Type: Part time, office cleaning.

Schedule: Evenings- 1 shift mid week, 1 weekend shift.

Shift Length: 2 shifts 3 hours long per week (potential additional hours in future)

Wage: $20 - $22/hourly

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who prefers a consistent evening schedule, works well independently, and takes pride in completing their work thoroughly.

Reliable transportation is essential. Candidates must have a valid driver’s licence and access to their own vehicle to travel to and from assigned client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas

What We’re Looking For

• Consistent availability for two three-hour evening shifts per week
• Ability to begin shifts after 5:00 p.m.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and time-management skills
• Comfortable completing active cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is an asset
• Experience using floor-care equipment, such as auto-scrubbers or swing machines, is an asset
• Must be bondable and able to complete a Criminal Record Check
