Christina Lake Cannabis is seeking a dependable Contract Cleaning Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment across our Midway site in British Columbia. The role requires attention to detail, independence, and a commitment to safety, with duties spanning cleaning floors, surfaces, and common areas.

The successful candidate will follow site procedures, handle cleaning products safely, and report issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, industrial, farm, or general cleaning experience is an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean work environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and equipment.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning activities for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and site operations.
• Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the interior of workspaces, including floors, surfaces, fixtures, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down, and sanitize surfaces as required.
• Remove garbage and waste and dispose of it in accordance with site procedures.
• Clean and maintain common areas, workstations, and other assigned spaces.
• Restock cleaning supplies, PPE, and notify the site manager when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within required timeframes.
• Use cleaning products, equipment, and tools safely and appropriately.
• Follow all site health, safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures.
• Report damage, maintenance concerns, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and respectful working relationship with site personnel.
• Perform other cleaning and general site support duties as reasonably assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Contract Cleaning Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment across our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning designated work areas.

This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable working in an active agricultural environment.

Contract Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Midway, BC

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, thorough, and safety conscious. This position is important to maintaining a clean, organized, and productive environment, and we value someone who can consistently complete their work to a high standard. Must be able to work at our Midway site and have your own transportation.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
