Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a warehouse facility in Calgary. You will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver exceptional cleaning results and ensure client satisfaction during your shift.

The responsibilities include creating shift schedules, coordinating assignments with contract requirements, promoting a safe work environment, training new employees, ordering supplies, and performing regular inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of leadership experience in facility services or related field.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools and equipment.
• Strong people management, planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands.

Responsabilités

• Ensure client receives exceptional service through regular communication with onsite representatives.
• Prepare shift schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Provide training support for new employees.
• Order supplies, tools and equipment and manage preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.

We have an immediate need for a Shift Supervisor at a warehouse facility at 292205 Nose Crk Blvd, Calgary, AB T4A 3N7. As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver exceptional results.

Position Details:

1. Saturday and Sunday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

As a site supervisor, your duties may include…

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service oriented culture
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
• Provide support with the training of new employees
• Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Support with cleaning duties
• Manage communication with radio
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

• Minimum of two year’s experience working within the facility services industry in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machinery
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools
• Police Background Check

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
• Operate equipment when required
