Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a warehouse facility in Brampton, ON. You will lead a team of janitorial staff to ensure high-quality cleaning and client satisfaction, with duties spanning scheduling, training support, safety, and equipment management.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in the facility services industry in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in cleaning industry including processes, eco-friendly products, tools and machinery.
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools.
• Police Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives and timely handling of service quality issues.
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments to deliver services efficiently.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Provide training support for new employees.
• Order supplies, tools and equipment; manage preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to meet cleaning standards.
• Assist with cleaning duties as required.
• Maintain effective communication via radio.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required.

We have an immediate need for a Shift Supervisor at a warehouse facility at 8050 Heritage Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y 6L5. As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver exceptional results.

This position is Friday to Sunday 8:30 pm to 7:00 am / Pay rate: $20.9

As a site supervisor, your duties may include…

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service oriented culture
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
• Provide support with the training of new employees
• Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Support with cleaning duties
• Manage communication with radio
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
• Operate equipment when required
