Job summary

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Site Shift Supervisor for a warehouse facility in Belleville, Ontario. You will lead a team of janitorial staff to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction during assigned shifts.

The role requires at least two years in facility services leadership, knowledge of cleaning best practices, and strong planning and communication skills. A police background check is required, and on-site work with potential benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the facility services industry in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools and machinery.
• Police Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives and timely response to service quality issues.
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments to meet contract requirements and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring CCS employees follow safety policies and procedures.
• Provide support with training of new employees.
• Order supplies, tools & equipment and manage a preventative maintenance program.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Support with cleaning duties.
• Manage communication with radio.
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

We have an immediate need for a Shift Supervisor at a warehouse facility at 640 College St E, Belleville, ON K8N 0V2. As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of janitorial staff to deliver exceptional results.

Shifts Available:

• Monday to Thursday, Night Shift: 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Friday to Sunday, Night Shift: 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Friday to Sunday, Day Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

As a site supervisor, your duties may include…

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service oriented culture
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
• Provide support with the training of new employees
• Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Support with cleaning duties
• Manage communication with radio
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

• Minimum of two year’s experience working within the facility services industry in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machinery
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools
• Police Background Check

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
• Operate equipment when required
