Cleaning Supervisor

Wage: $25–$27.50 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations, supervise staff, maintain quality standards and ensure exceptional customer service across our residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and support the daily activities of cleaning staff.
• Assist with employee scheduling, assign daily work and maintain operational records.
• Train and onboard new employees, demonstrating company cleaning procedures and safe work practices.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to maintain high quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work and address any deficiencies.
• Communicate professionally with clients and respond to service concerns.
• Coordinate laundry pick-up and delivery.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and report repair or replacement needs.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and assist with cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional cleaning experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience within the cleaning industry.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple job sites and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including lifting cleaning equipment and supplies, bending, standing and walking for extended periods.
