Job Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Office building, Commercial facility, Hotel, motel, resort, Residential/client’s home

Personal Suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Reliability

Tasks

1. Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
2. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
3. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
4. Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services
5. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
6. Establish work schedules

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Supervision: Light duty cleaners
