Job summary

BGIS is seeking an Area Cleaning Supervisor in Canada (Alberta, Lethbridge) to oversee cleaning operations on site. You will lead cleaners, ensure service quality, and control costs while maintaining safety and client standards.

You will report to the Property Manager and collaborate with the FMZ team to meet site goals. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory cleaning experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility for shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing, communicating and motivating a workforce.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• 1–3 years or more of cleaning supervisory experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Flexible with overtime, nights and weekend shifts on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead site cleaners to meet client MSA SOW and BGIS procedures.
• Inspect work quality and coach the team for improvements.
• Ensure cleaners have resources to deliver contract services.
• Coordinate with BGIS Property Manager and FMZ team on needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment.
• Conduct monthly staff and training meetings.
• Manage scheduling priorities and project tasks.
