We’re seeking a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor who leads by example, working beside the team while ensuring every job meets our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will perform cleaning duties and oversee cleaners across sites, manage schedules, conduct quality inspections, and handle basic administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial/residential cleaning is required.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask between hands-on cleaning and administrative responsibilities.
• Comfortable using basic computer/phone apps for scheduling, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on cleaning tasks alongside the team.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of cleaning staff across one or more sites.
• Assign daily tasks and create/adjust cleaning schedules.
• Conduct quality inspections and walkthroughs to ensure standards are met.
• Address performance issues and provide coaching; step in to cover shifts when short-staffed.
• Handle client inquiries on site or via email; perform admin tasks as necessary.

We're looking for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor who leads by example, working alongside the team while ensuring every job meets our quality standards.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor who will both perform cleaning duties and oversee a team of cleaners across assigned sites. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be on taking on cleaning alongside your team, while also managing schedules, quality control, and basic administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable both doing the work and directing others.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties

Perform hands-on cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, washroom care, trash removal, etc.) alongside the team

Ensure all cleaning is completed to company quality standards and client expectations

Handle client inquiries on site or over email

Perform admin tasks as necessary

Supervisory Duties

Supervise, train, and support a team of cleaning staff across one or more sites

Assign daily tasks and create/adjust cleaning schedules

Conduct quality inspections and walkthroughs to ensure standards are met

Requirements
