Job summary

IMPACT CLEANING SERVICES is seeking a Cleaning Associate to join the team and deliver services to our contract standards. You will maintain a clean and professional appearance while using clean tools and equipment, acting as a brand ambassador for the company.

The role requires you to work on-site, potentially after-hours, weekends or holidays, and to collaborate with the Cleaning Supervisor and Lead to identify improvements and maintain supplies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a cleaning role is preferred.
• Proficiency with the use of smart phones and mobile applications.
• In a position to complete a security background check in good standing.
• You take immense pride in the quality of your work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver services to the standards outlined within each contract, scope of work and/or standard operating procedure.
• Keep your cart and tools clean and orderly at all times.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and look while on the job.
• Work with Cleaning Team to identify areas for improvement within your assigned areas.
• Ensure all your tools are in safe working condition.
• Work with the Supervisor and/or Lead to maintain adequate supply levels.
• Provide support and feedback to the Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Any additional duties that may be assigned from time-to-time.

The Cleaning Associate is the core of the Cleaning Team.

The Cleaning Associate delivers exceptional services to the properties we service and brings a positive attitude to the workplace. You are more than a cleaner. You are a brand ambassador of Impact Cleaning Services. You fundamental to the health of the spaces we service.

It is imperative that you understand Impact’s processes, policies, and procedures, so you can deliver exceptional services that meet those standards.

REPORTS TO:

Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Lead

DIRECT REPORTS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage

• Deliver services to the standards outlined within each contract, scope of work and/or standard operating procedure
• Keep your cart and tools clean and orderly at all times
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and look while on the job

Support

• Work with Cleaning Team to identify areas for improvement within your assigned areas
• Ensure all your tools are in safe working condition
• Work with the Supervisor and/or Lead to maintain adequate supply levels
• Provide support and feedback to the Supervisor and/or Lead
• Any additional duties that may be assigned from time-to-time

WORKING CONDITIONS:

On-site and may be required to work after-hours, as well as weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift upto 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull cleaning carts
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks (mopping, wiping, vacuuming)
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Able to see and hear clearly to follow instructions and observe safety hazards
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning checklists
• Perform work in commercial buildings, including evenings or nights
