Job summary

DKI - North Bay is seeking a Cleaner (Restoration Services) to perform cleaning, sanitization, deodorization, and general labour on properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other insured losses.

You will support restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring properties are clean, safe, and habitable while collaborating with restoration teams and customers in a professional, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning, restoration, janitorial, hospitality, or labour experience considered an asset.
• Experience in restoration services considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, sanitization, deodorization, and content cleaning activities.
• Assist with post-mitigation, post-construction, and final cleaning services.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and vehicles.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while working in occupied homes and businesses.
• Support a positive customer experience throughout the restoration process.
• Follow company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.
• Work collaboratively with restoration technicians, contents personnel, and project teams.

Business Operations Full Time North Bay, ON $18 - $22 CAD per hour

The Cleaner (Restoration Services) is responsible for performing cleaning, sanitization, deodorization, and general labour activities on residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, trauma, environmental contamination, pests or other insured losses.

This role supports restoration and reconstruction projects by helping return properties to a clean, safe, and habitable condition. The Cleaner works closely with restoration teams, project staff, and customers while demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and DKI’s commitment to Human-Centered Recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Restoration Support

• Perform cleaning, sanitization, deodorization, and content cleaning activities.
• Assist with post-mitigation, post-construction, and final cleaning services.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.
