Job summary

Avenue Living Residential in Calgary is seeking a part-time housekeeping team member to maintain clean, welcoming common areas and vacant units. You will handle office cleaning and assist with basic maintenance, delivering consistent, high-quality service.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in residential cleaning, be able to lift up to 10 lbs, possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, and pass a criminal record check.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of housekeeping in a residential multi-family environment.
• Must lift up to 10 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Must complete & pass a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas and sanitize surfaces.
• Complete full unit cleaning in vacant units.
• Office cleaning and organization.
• Collect and dispose of scattered garbage in common areas.
• Dust all surfaces and clean glass doors/windows.
• Empty cigarette receptacles and assist with maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a part-time opportunity requiring three days of work per week, including weekend availability.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Ensure all common areas are clean and sanitized.
• Complete full unit cleaning in vacant units.
• Office cleaning and organization.
• Pick up any scattered garbage/debris in common areas and empty all garbage containers
• Dust all smooth, flat surfaces with dusting tool provided.
• Clean all glass doors and windows at front and back entries.
• Empty and replace all cigarette receptacles.
• Minor repairs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHATWILL YOU NEED?

• 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a residential multi-family environment
• Basic use of janitorial tools – vacuums, dusters, cleaning products, carrying items and rug shampooers and carpet steamers.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must complete & pass a criminal record check.
