Job summary

Avenue Living Residential is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to support cleaning across residential units and common areas. You will perform unit and office cleaning, ensure sanitation, and help maintain a welcoming environment for residents.

3 days per week with weekend availability. Must have 2–3 years of residential housekeeping experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Training and a supportive, employee-centric culture are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of housekeeping experience in a residential multi-family environment.
• Basic use of janitorial tools – vacuums, dusters, cleaning products.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs and have a valid driver’s license; must pass a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all common areas are clean and sanitized.
• Complete full unit cleaning in vacant units.
• Office cleaning and organization.
• Pick up scattered garbage/debris in common areas and empty all containers.
• Dust all smooth surfaces with provided tools.
• Clean glass doors and windows at entries.
• Empty cigarette receptacles.
• Minor repairs and maintenance.

This is a part-time opportunity requiring three days of work per week, including weekend availability.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Ensure all common areas are clean and sanitized.
• Complete full unit cleaning in vacant units.
• Office cleaning and organization.
• Pick up any scattered garbage/debris in common areas and empty all garbage containers
• Dust all smooth, flat surfaces with dusting tool provided.
• Clean all glass doors and windows at front and back entries.
• Empty and replace all cigarette receptacles.
• Minor repairs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHATWILL YOU NEED?

• 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in a residential multi-family environment
• Basic use of janitorial tools – vacuums, dusters, cleaning products, carrying items and rug shampooers and carpet steamers.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must complete & pass a criminal record check.
