Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a reliable janitor to perform cleaning duties at our facilities in London, Ontario. Responsibilities include garbage/recycling/compost handling, disinfecting restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning elevators, and restocking supplies across classrooms and offices.

Responsibilities

• Collect garbage, recycling, and compost and move to the assigned area.
• Disinfect toilets and urinals, clean mirrors, and refill dispensers.
• Clean floor scrubber, keep janitor room tidy, restock supplies.
• Clean elevator, shine mirrors, wash floors and spot wash walls.
• Clean spills, dust pictures and vents.
• Clean all offices.
• Keep janitor room tidy, disinfect cart, fill chemical bottles, clean machine.
• Clean classrooms and ensure markers and erasers are stocked.
• Disinfect desktops; vacuum as needed.
• Wipe down equipment.
• Spot wash walls and doors.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Collect garbage, recycling, and compost, take to assigned area and wipe down compost counter/cupboard.
• Disinfect toilets /urinals and clean mirrors. Fill dispensers. Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and empty floor scrubber if used, keep janitor room tidy, restock supplies.
• Clean elevator, shine mirrors, wash floor and spot wash walls, shine stainless steel.
• Clean up any spills, dust pictures in hallways, vents.
• Full cleaning of all offices.
• Keep janitor room clean and tidy, disinfect cart and fill chemical bottles, keep floor machine clean inside and out. Take dirty rags back to Housekeeping laundry room and start/empty washer or dryer.
• All Classrooms require cleaning, ensure there are markers (red, black and blue) also white board Care cleaner and Eraser, chalk, and eraser.
• Disinfect desktops, vacuum as needed.
• Wipe down all other equipment.
• Spot wash walls and doors.
