BEST Service Pros in Burnaby, BC is seeking a part-time cleaner to keep common areas, washrooms, and entryways clean and inviting. You will handle mopping, sweeping, window cleaning, and trash disposal, while maintaining equipment and reporting needed repairs.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with cleaning products and WHMIS considerations. On-call, evening shifts accompany a competitive wage and opportunities for upskilling within a growing

• WHMIS Certification is an asset.

Shift Type: On call-Casual
Shift Days/ Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Wage: $25.85/ Hourly

JOB OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and maintaining common rooms, kitchens, and washrooms
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean windows and keep blinds dust-free
• Take out and properly dispose of garbage
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
• WHMIS Certification is an asset
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
