Job summary

gategroup is seeking motivated personnel to uphold cleanliness in our kitchen and office areas. The role involves cleaning kitchen appliances, sweeping floors, maintaining staff cafeteria cleanliness, and disposing of waste in a fast-paced airline catering environment.

Applicants should be able to work varying shifts, lift up to 25 kg, and operate in extreme temperatures (-18°C to 50°C). Basic English communication is required, and SOPs/GMPs must be followed.

Qualifications

• Able to work varying shifts and overtime.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Work in temperatures from -18°C to 50°C.
• Physically fit for bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting.
• Exposure to elevated noise levels.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic English verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean machines and appliances in kitchen, coffee makers, pots, pans, plates, utensils.
• Sweep, vacuum, scrub and mop floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of office area and staff cafeteria.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials as required.
• Follow sanitation booklet for mixing detergents and preparing cleaning solutions.
• Complete sanitation records daily.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs.
• Advise management of any sanitation deficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc.

Sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing and mopping floors.

Maintain supplies and cleanliness of office area and staff cafeteria.

Dispose of waste and recycling materials as required.

Follow company sanitation booklet which provides an accurate way to mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions.

Complete sanitation records on a daily basis.

Follow company’s written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and GMPs.

Advise management of any sanitation related deficiencies.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to work varying shifts and work overtime when required.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move any objects up to 25kg on a regular and continuous basis.
• Must be able to work in varying temperature environments ranging from -18 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
• Must be physically fit to perform job duties as work requires bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting of the body.
• Subject maybe exposed to elevated noise levels.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
