Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden is nestled in the heart of Simcoe County, just a short drive from Barrie, one of Ontario’s fastest-growing cities. OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing and able to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required and approved.
Reliability status security clearance
Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest.
Must be willing and able to operate cleaning machinery for long periods of time, including full days or multiple days in a row.
Must be willing and able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
Must be willing and able to wear safety footwear as required.
Must be willing and able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kgs in accordance with general safety practices.
Must be willing and able to climb ladders to perform various duties at heights of up to eight (8) feet.
