Job summary

Southwest Learning Centers in Vancouver is seeking a caring Childcare Classroom Assistant to support our childcare program. You will assist lead teachers, supervise children, and help with meals and daily routines in a warm, nurturing environment.

The role offers both full-time and part-time scheduling, with competitive pay from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Opportunities for growth exist within the program and a collaborative team is provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
