Base pay range

CA$32.00 / hr - CA$32.00 / hr

KAG Canada is seeking experienced Class 1 / AZ truck drivers to join our team of 850 drivers across Canada. Our Ottawa terminal is currently recruiting full-time drivers based out of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers for freight transportation across various lanes in British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay rate : $32.00 / hr with a night shift premium of $2.35 / hr.
• Work schedule : 5 days on, 2 days off, then 5 days on, 3 days off, with highway and home daily routes. Night shifts available.
• Paid product training at $30.40 / hr.
• Additional $300 for on-road resets.
• Overtime paid after 55 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 / AZ tractor-trailer experience.
• On-site drug and alcohol screening.
• Job abilities assessment.

• Modern, well-maintained equipment, primarily automatic transmission tractors.
