Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Class 5 Driver - Union to join our Transportation team in Burnaby, BC. You will safely operate company CDL vehicles and deliver customer orders while providing excellent service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of route experience, is 21+, and can lift heavy loads. We offer competitive pay at 30.57 CAD/hour, health and retirement benefits, vacation, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of route transportation experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds and push/pull bins up to 350 pounds.

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Class 5 Driver - Union to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle and providing excellent customer service while handling and delivering customer orders. What You’ll Do :

In this role, you will:

• Operate and Maintain: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain company CDL vehicles, strictly ensuring adherence to all security and regulatory procedures.

• Collaborate for Service: Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure a high level of customer service and a seamless delivery and retrieval process.

• Deliver and Document: Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate, complete paperwork and records, including loading, transporting, and driving the route without assistance.

What You’ll Bring :

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum Age and License: Minimum age of 21 with a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a consistently good driving record. Successfully meet the background check requirement.

• Route Experience: At least one year of route transportation experience (preferred).

• Physical requirements: The ability to lift at least 70 pounds and push/pull bins from 25 to 350 pounds (average 170 pounds). Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs and ladders. Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.

• Communication Skills: Strong knowledge of safe, efficient driving practices and demonstrable skills in customer service and clear verbal communication.
