Job summary

OSCO Construction Group's Glenholme Ready Mix is seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Driver to safely deliver concrete to construction sites and unload at customer locations. We are currently seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver ready mix concrete to construction sites.
Safely unload concrete at customer locations.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the concrete truck.
Assist with general cleaning and maintenance of the plant and yard.
Complete other duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
Completion of a driver training course an asset
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Previous experience is considered a definite asset.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, days, and late evenings.

Work Schedule

This position involves long workdays and early morning starts. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work required based on operational and customer demands. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours during busy construction periods.
