Job summary

RONA is seeking a delivery driver to support our store network in Gatineau. The role involves delivering to homes and construction sites, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining vehicle and safety records.

You will work with well-maintained trucks and a focus on providing an exceptional customer experience at each stop. Candidates should have a valid Class 3 license, a clean driving record, and at least one year of delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 3 driver’s license.
• 1 year of relevant delivery experience preferred.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to homes and construction sites.

Become a member of the Rona delivery team, where your reliability and hospitality, combined with our well-maintained trucks, will create an exceptional customer experience at every stop.

Your role:

• Participate in the preparation of deliveries and the vehicle used, such as securing pallets, holding related documentation, etc.
• Carry out deliveries to homes and construction sites
• Track shipments until they reach their destination, while respecting delivery deadlines
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance, document daily inspections and ensure the safety of all equipment
• Work in accordance with store health and safety and loss prevention policies and procedures
• Know and apply road safety rules
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• A valid class 3 driver's license and an excellent driving record
• 1 year relevant experience
• A focus on health and safety in the workplace
• Good physical condition
