Job summary

Cascadia Metals is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver in Canada. This hands-on role requires loading, unloading, tarping sheet metal, and daily trips with no overnights. You’ll maintain safety, complete logs, and support shipping/receiving while representing Cascadia to customers.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience.
• Class 1 license with Air Brake certification.
• Provide a clean driver abstract.
• Hauling and tarping sheet metal skids coils and pipe.
• 10-year drivers abstract needed when applying.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer skills.
• Time Management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within your job function.
• Ensure product integrity during transit.
• Clean and maintain your company vehicle.
• Represent Cascadia well to our customers.
• Effectively problem solve any day-to-day issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders and team members in a professional manner.
• Must be able to fill out standard drivers' daily logbooks.
• Filling out paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Safety Protocols (Pre-trip Inspections).
• Daily trips only – No overnight trips.
• Shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks.
• The equipment in it and the general maintenance of the property.
