Canada Cartage is searching for dependable Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join their dynamic delivery team in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time position offers a stable shift schedule of 4 on 4 off, starting at 6 am, with deliveries across Western Canada.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a valid Class 1 license, and a minimum of 5 years of driving experience. Responsibilities include safely delivering goods, operating tankers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
• 1-3 years of verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Super B experience required.
• 1 year verifiable mountain driving experience.
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to various locations across Western Canada.
• Perform physical unloading of goods (hand bombing).
• Transport cryogenic gases and other hazardous materials safely.
• Operate tanker to transport a variety of loads efficiently.
• Secure cargo using chains and straps following safety guidelines.
• Document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to various locations across Western Canada
• Perform physical unloading of goods (hand bombing) of up to 50 lbs
• Safely transport cryogenic gases, CO₂ products, and other hazardous materials to designated destinations
• Operate tanker to transport a variety of loads safely and efficiently
• Secure cargo using chains and straps, and other equipment following safety guidelines
• Ensure on‑time, safe, and professional delivery to customers
• Accurately document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs

Requirements

• Valid Class1 license required
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
• 1-3 years of verifiable tanker driving experience
• Minimum 1 year of Super B experience is required
• Must have 1 year verifiable mountain driving experience
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and load securement procedures
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
