Job summary

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc. (KAG) Canadian operations are hiring Class 1 drivers for fuel and hopper board assignments from Chemainus, BC. The position features a 4 days on/4 days off schedule, with both day and night shifts and overnight requirements.

Reside in Nanaimo or Victoria. Compensation includes base pay with premiums and bonuses, plus benefits and potential RRSP matching. Immediate training and payroll bonuses are offered to new hires.

Qualifications

• Class 1/AZ license with at least 2 years of highway experience.
• Asset: Super B, tanker and off-road experience.
• On-site drug and alcohol screen and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel or hopper board from Chemainus, BC to mine and retail sites.
• 4 days on, 4 days off work schedule with day and night shifts.
• Overnight work required; drivers must reside in Nanaimo or Victoria.

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada!

Our Coquitlam Terminal in BC is currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for the following hauls from Chemainus, Vancouver Island, BC:

• Fuel

Work Schedule Highlights: 4 days on 4 days off.

Overnight will be required. Delivery to mine and retail sites. Position is a combination of day shift and night shift.

Driver must reside in Naniamo or Victoria.

Good Operations Bonus – based on a 55 hour week

Attendance Bonus - based on 55 hours per week, the hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77%

Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends

What you bring:

• Class 1/AZ License with a minimum of 2 years of recent highway experience.
• Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset; on-site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal record search.
