KAG Canada is seeking a Professional Class 1 Driver for our Westcan Bulk Transport operations in Saskatoon. The role focuses on dry bulk cargo with a 70/36 schedule, requiring the driver to sleep in a bunk for five days and maintain safety standards while on the road.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1/AZ license with at least 2 years of highway experience. Tanker experience and on-site screening are assets; on-site drug and alcohol testing is conducted.

Qualifications

• Class 1/AZ license with minimum 2 years of highway experience.
• Tank trailer experience is a strong asset and required site drug/alcohol screening.
• Willing to live in the truck for 5 days at a time.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry bulk as a professional Class 1 driver for Westcan Bulk Transport.
• Adhere to 70/36 schedule and sleep in bunk for 5 days.
• Complete on-site drug and alcohol screens and company background checks.

Westcan is currently seeking aProfessional Class 1 Driver to join our team in Saksatoon, with a focus on

• Dry Bulk

Work Schedule Highlights: 70/36 hours. Must sleep in bunk for 5 days.

What you bring:

• Class 1/AZ License with a minimum of 2 years of recent highway experience.
• Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset; on-site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal record search.
• Willing to stay in the truck for 5 days

Rate of Pay

New Hire Asphalt, Ammonia or Propane Board Assignment

Total Base Rate

$31.00

Premium based on Assignment

$1.90 - $2.40

Good Operations Bonus – based on a 55 hour week

$0.99

Attendance Bonus - based on 55 hours per week, the hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77%

Total pay for regular hours

$35.85

Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends
