Job summary

Winalta Transport, based in Acheson, Alberta, is seeking an experienced off-road Owner Operator with a Severe Duty (SD) tractor. Expertise in off-road and logging, plus a Class 1A license and 53ft deck experience, is required.

• Off road and logging experience is required.
• Class 1A Driver’s License – Minimum 2 year flat/step deck experience preferred.
• SD truck required.
• 53ft step deck/flat deck required.
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to run regional throughout Western Canada.

Responsibilities

• Haul construction/plant equipment, camps, and pipe, including offloading at rail spur.
• Provide hot shot service to customers as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatch for stable year-round work.
