Job summary

Edge Transportation is seeking experienced class 1 Owner Operators for triaxle/tandem flat deck work across Canada. Open dispatch and you will run through SK, AB, BC, MB, ON, QC and NB.

Qualifications

• Class 1A licence and 2+ years highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Clean driving record with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass criminal record check & pre-employment drug screen.
• Willing to operate on open dispatch and travel across provinces.

Responsibilities

• Operate tri-axle or tandem flat deck as an owner-operator.
• Coordinate with dispatch for routes across SK, AB, BC, MB, ON, QC and NB.
• Maintain safety and compliance in all trucking operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery documentation.

Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

Edge Transport is growing and currently looking to recruit experienced class 1 Owner Operators for triaxle/tandem flat deck work. You can be located in Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or Vancouver. This role is open dispatch and you will run through SK, AB, BC, MB, ON, QC and NB.
