Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul and intermodal freight across North America, including drayage and container movements between warehouses, rail terminals and ports.

We’re growing and help qualified drivers become Owner Operators through our PowerLease Program. The role is an open-dispatch, coast-to-coast opportunity with potential to build equity in your own truck and access select Edge-owned units.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 1A Driver’s License and highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Willing to run on open dispatch coast-to-coast.
• Ability to pass criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.

In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

What You Bring

• A positive CAN-DO attitude
• Safety conscious approach to all job duties
• Class 1A Driver’s License – Minimum 2 year highway driving experience required
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required
• Willing to run on open dispatch, coast to coast
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
