Edge Transportation Services Ltd. is seeking drivers for an open dispatch role across North America, with the PowerLease program helping qualified drivers become Owner Operators.

We offer competitive gross pay and a clear path to truck ownership, supported by an experienced team. This role requires a Class 1A license and a proven safety record, with ongoing commitments to compliance and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Class 1A Driver’s License and at least 2 years highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Willing to run on open dispatch coast to coast.
• Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate flat deck/over-dimensional freight on coast-to-coast routes.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.
