Job summary

XTL Transport Inc. is seeking EXPERIENCED Class 1 Long-Haul Drivers to join our Alberta team. We offer year-round steady work with dedicated customers across the U.S.

and Canada, weekly pay, and annual wage increases for the first five years. We are hiring five more drivers. Requirements include a valid Class 1 license, 2+ years long-haul experience (including 2 winters), cross-border US/Canada travel, and TDG/REEFER experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with 2+ years long-haul experience across Canada/US.
• Must reside within 1.5 hours of Airdrie (Edmonton or Calgary area).
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak) – US mandate.
• Willing to travel Canada & US for 5–7 days.
• Reefer experience required; TDG experience is an asset.
• Clean abstract with zero moving violations (e.g., Speeding<5 demerits).
• FAST CARDS required; company helps obtain them.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for FIVE more Class 1 US/Canada Long-Haul Drivers to join our Alberta team. Enjoy steady work, modern equipment, and a supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 license
• Minimum 2 years long-haul experience (including 2 consecutive winters) travelling across Canada and/or US
• At least 1 year of U.S. cross-border experience Included in the 2 years above
• Must live in Edmonton or Calgary Areas - maximum 1.5 hours from our terminal in Airdrie.
• MUST BE Fluent in English (read, write, speak) - this is a US Mandate
• Willing to travel across Canada & U.S. for 5-7 days (Our main focus is Mid-West & West Coast in Canada and USA. Periodically we will send drivers East)
• Clean abstract (zero moving violations, such as Speeding<5 demerits)
• Reefer experience required; TDG experience is an asset
• FAST CARDS - are required but XTL will help with obtaining them for new employees by reimbursing the fee once the card is obtained.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $0.59/mile (U.S.), $0.54/mile (Canada) with automatic wage increases every year for the first 5 years.
