Job summary

New Way Trucking is hiring Experienced AZ/Class 1 Drivers for our Cornwall location, with regional runs from Cornwall to QC/NB and to GTA. The role requires operating Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations, effective communication with customers and dispatch, and strict logbook upkeep.

Candidates must have a valid Class 1 license, clean record, and experience with Reefer/Dry Van trailers. We offer security, incentives for safety and performance, benefits, vacation pay and a healthy work-life

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
• No more than 2 demerit points on commercial abstract.
• No suspensions on driving record.
• Clean criminal record.
• Familiarity with Reefer/Dry Van trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer for regional runs (Cornwall to QC/NB and Cornwall to GTA).
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, managers and safety teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date log books.
• Perform inspections and safety checks on equipment.
