Job Description

Our Pigging & Decoking division seeks to expand our Operator team. You will drive tractor-trailers to various sites and work with crews of 4-8 people on-site. The role involves physical tasks such as rigging-in and rigging-out, with much of your day spent operating pigging equipment from a heated/cooled cab. Work varies daily, and deployments span across provinces and occasionally other parts of Canada.

Our Operators support refineries, petrochemical facilities, and industrial complexes by cleaning pipes and pipelines using hydraulic propulsion of mechanical pigs.

Shifts are project-based with significant overtime opportunities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment to and from sites and facilities
• Set up and operate pigging equipment for system cleaning
• Provide mechanical troubleshooting support in the field
• Maintain and repair equipment in the shop
• Complete accurate logs and paperwork
• Meet personal training requirements
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers
• Haul hoses, PPE, and tools to work sites
• Perform duties with attention to detail and safety
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license (manual transmission), with no more than 5 demerits in the past 3 years
• Onsite training provided
• H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are assets but can be obtained through training
• Ability to pass a negative drug and alcohol test
• Flexible scheduling for day or night shifts

Skills

• Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required
• Safety-focused mindset
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in harsh weather
• Team-oriented attitude with good humor and safety consciousness
