Cabico Coaticook is seeking a Shunter – Class 1 Driver to join our team. The position offers 40 hours per week across four evening shifts, with a starting hourly wage of $22.62 CAD plus a $2.00 evening shift premium.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license is required.
• Excellent sense of priorities, organized and methodical.
• Proficiency in safe material handling methods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.

Responsabilités

• Shuttle between plants when necessary (Shunter).
• Move trailers as needed.
• Maintain a driving log.
• Perform truck safety inspections.
• Load trucks according to proper work methods.
• Ensure that orders are complete in the trucks.
• Ensure the production line is cleared quickly to avoid slowing down production.
• Place furniture in the correct rows.
