Job summary

Cabico is seeking a Shunter – Class 1 Driver at its Coaticook plant in Canada’s Eastern Townships. The role involves moving trailers, driving between plants, and performing safety checks. You will maintain driving logs and load trucks according to procedures.

We offer an autonomous, team-oriented environment with a family spirit, a starting hourly wage of $22.62 and a $2.00 evening shift premium. 40 hours per week across four evening shifts, with opportunities for growth in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s license is required.
• Excellent sense of priorities, organized and methodical.
• Proficiency in safe material handling methods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle between plants when necessary (Shunter).
• Move trailers as needed.
• Maintain a driving log.
